Supply Chain Planning Team works with clients to implement SCM software and industry standard processes with the aim of reducing costs increasing customer service, and creating frameworks for enhanced collaboration and business efficiency.

For the Supply Chain Planning Consulting Services team in the Netherlands we seek a motivated and enthusiastic applications consultant.
To provide implementation and general consultancy services for SCM products to existing and new Clients in accordance with the agreed objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing customer facing consultation assignments
- Understanding customers’ supply chain planning business requirements
- Hands-on configuration / parameterisation of the software applications to meet customer requirements
- Personal delivery of education, training and functional/best practice consultation to customers
- Undertaking the role of work stream leader within projects where required
- Working within the framework of a formal implementation framework
Key Tasks:
·        Deliver supply chain solutions to Clients
·        Maintain product knowledge and skills
·        Generate consultancy revenue from existing client base
Detailed Breakdown of Tasks:
- Deliver supply chain solutions to Clients
- Assist the realisation of business benefits for clients
- Manage or contribute client project plans
- Monitor progress against milestone dates and critical success factors.
- Define the client resources required for successful implementation
- Provide detailed user and technical training to client staff
- Provide guidance on the development of a supply chain process
- Match software functionality with client business requirements
- Assist the integration of the software into the client business processes
- Define and specify client customisation requests to software laboratories
- Conduct and report appropriate project risk analyses
- Identify and report project performance and evaluation measures
- Review the overall success of projects and provide recommendations
- Provide regular internal reports on the status of projects
- Maintain product knowledge and skills
- Attend product functionality briefings and training sessions
- Utilise part of non-billable time for self-study
- Tutor internal training courses to gain relevant practice
- Maintain general supply chain knowledge from other sources of information
- Provide relevant input into software development process·
- Undertake specific team projects as required
- Generate consultancy revenue from existing client base
- Maintain regular contact with clients
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of clients’ usage of the software
- Â Identify and report commercial opportunities and risks
- Identify opportunities for additional consultancy work
- Tutor public software courses
Functie-eisen
Education requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following or similar:  Operational Research / Management, Logistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain.
Further requirements
- Proven experience of relevant supply-chain and/or consultancy industries
- Good database query skills through the use of Oracle SQL  and/or  Microsoft SQL
- Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English required– ability to speak another European Language would be advantageous
- International working experience is preferable and willingness to work on projects all over Europe is a must
Software Product Type Experience Required:
- Supply chain planning business process analysis and design
- Demand forecasting, demand planning, forecast collaboration
- Constraint based master planning, linear programming optimisation modelling
- Finite scheduling and production sequencing
- Supply Chain Planning metrics and KPI, dashboard reporting
Skills, experience and attributes required:
- Extensive industrial experience in an operational or consultancy role
- High degree of confidence working with the operations research and information technology aspects of supply chain software products
- Capability to take full ownership for delivery of a project or a major work stream
- Technical and business knowledge
- Commercial Awareness and supply chain business understanding
